Deine Rolle bei uns

Als Head of Engineering (all genders) bei STOFF2 treibst du die Entwicklung und Umsetzung unserer ZZE-Technologie maßgeblich voran. Dabei leitest du ein hoch motiviertes Engineering Team und arbeitest eng mit unseren anderen Department Heads (Operations, Product Management und R&D) und ihren Teams zusammen.

Deine Aufgaben

Führen eines multidisziplinären Engineering Teams, das an der Konstruktion, Entwicklung und Optimierung unseres ZZE-Systems arbeitet
Umsetzung unserer technischen Innovation in ein robustes, validiertes und zertifiziertes Design
Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Heads (Operations, Product Management und R&D) und ihren Teams um die erfolgreiche Integration und Einführung der ZZE-Technologie und eine hohe Qualität und Zuverlässigkeit während des gesamten Produktlebenszyklus des ZZEs sicherzustellen
Bereitstellung strategischer Leitlinien für die Weiterentwicklung unserer ZZE-Systeme im Einklang mit den Unternehmenszielen
Entwicklung schlanker Prozesse unter Anwendung moderner IT-Tools
Bereitschaft, die Organisation STOFF2 im Rahmen des geplanten Wachstums weiterzuentwickeln

Dein Profil

Du bist überzeugt davon, dass grüner Wasserstoff die Zukunft ist und hast Lust, aktiv daran teilzuhaben
Du hast dein Studium in Ingenieurwissenschaften, vorzugsweise mit Schwerpunkt Chemieingenieurwesen, Elektrochemie oder einem verwandten Gebiet abgeschlossen
Du hast nachweislich Erfahrung im Projektmanagement auf dem Gebiet der Energiespeicherung, mit Elektrolyseursystemen oder verwandten Energietechnologien
Du hast ein ausgeprägtes Verständnis von elektrochemischen Prozessen, Systemmodellierung und -optimierung
Du hast viel Erfahrung in der Entwicklung von mechanischen und/oder elektrischen Maschinen oder Systemen. Erfahrung mit funktionalen Sicherheitsanforderungen ist ein Plus
Du hast Erfahrung in der Leitung und Entwicklung von Engineering Teams und förderst aktiv eine Kultur der Innovation und Zusammenarbeit
Deine ausgeprägten Kommunikations- und Verhandlungsfähigkeiten stellst du im Job regelmäßig unter Beweis
Du verfügst über fließende Deutschkenntnisse und sehr gute, technische Englischkenntnisse

About us

STOFF2 is one of the leading start-ups in the renewable energy sector. We are among the pioneers in the production of green hydrogen and are working to realize our shared vision of a greener future. With the development of our Zinc Intermediary Electrolyser, combining energy storage and electrolysis technology, we have already taken the first important step in this direction. The role

As Head of Engineering (all genders) at STOFF2, you will play a key role in driving the development and implementation of our ZZE technology. You will lead a highly motivated engineering team and work closely with our other department heads (Operations, Product Management and R&D) and their teams.

Your mission

Leading a multidisciplinary engineering team working on the design, development and optimization of our ZZE system
Translating our technical innovation into a robust, validated and certified design
Collaborate with other Heads (Operations, Product Management and R&D) and their teams to ensure successful integration and implementation of the ZZE technology and high quality and reliability throughout the ZZE product lifecycle
Provide strategic guidance for the further development of our ZZE systems in line with company goals
Develop lean processes using modern IT tools
Willingness to further develop the STOFF2 organization in line with planned growth

Your profile

You are convinced that green hydrogen is the future and you want to actively participate in it
You have a degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on chemical engineering, electrochemistry or a related field
You have proven experience in project management in the field of energy storage, electrolysis systems or related energy technologies
You have a strong understanding of electrochemical processes, system modeling and optimization
You have a lot of experience in the development of mechanical and/or electrical machines or systems. Experience with functional safety requirements is a plus
You have experience in leading and developing engineering teams and actively promote a culture of innovation and collaboration
Strong ability to communicate, negotiate and work in interdisciplinary teams
Very good communication skills in German and (technical) English
